Good assessment Darren, I cant take all the credit but it was the start of a chain, a bit like any blog really, person B reads person A, person C readers person B and references person A. Person D reads person C and writes for Slashdot .... or something like that. Kudos to Brian though, at the end of the day all I did was give him a leg up, its his concept, design and writing skills thats delivered the goods.

Spot on! I have seen so many websites stingy with links because they are afraid people will go elsewhere.Links to good content are a rich addition to the content of a site. Webmasters should never forget that!

Thank you very much for the mention, Darren :) Links certainly are amazing and I now see the power that they have. I never thought that any of this would happen. It is truly mind blowing.

Thanks and keep up the great job with the blog. Your blog was one of the reasons I started blogging in the first place :) Things do change and at first I was in it for the enjoyment and the money from AdSense. But, now... I had no increase in clicks since, but I honestly don't care much about the money right now. Now, I am just enjoying the blogging experience. Absolutely great.

background of quote and links on quote are hardly distinguishable - you should use more contrasting colors!

well isn't that a positive outcome - with your 31 Days series and Duncan's 100 Blogs in 100 Days you're really giving something back ... and giving little-known blogs a kickstart.

And best of all, done by two Aussies ;-)
