Blogging Pro Reaches the $100 a Day in Adsense Mark
Jacob at Blogging Pro has reached the $100 per day from Adsense milestone – it’s a goal that so many bloggers have but that can be so elusive – he writes:
‘I did it! I finally reached my goal of breaking $100 in 1 day of Adsense earnings. $102.26 to be exact. It’s been a long time since I set this goal, but my goal was to reach it before the end of the year. I had no clue that I would reach it this quick, but doing some simple optimization over the past few weeks has apparently helped. ‘

Up burning the midnight oil reading blogs and I would just like to say that this is awesome. Thats 36500 a year. More then most people make in a year. Makes me want to blog some more. I am up to a grand total of $2.50 a month. Can only go up from here.
Speaking of blogs, I was on blogger and saw some comment spam. I clicked on this link, it took me to a site that had three google ads on it, and nothing else. So do you think I should report them for violation of the terms of service.

It looks like Jacob has hit the jackpot with buying Cssvault.com, BloggingPro.com, Blogcatalog.com, … I wonder how much did he spend?

It makes me curious actually – whether buying all those other domains helped in him making more money with AdSense on bloggingpro? Funneling traffic to one site from satellite sites is nothing new, is this what he did?

@english guy: I think he made the money on all domains. So buying the domains was a good deal, even if he had to give 2000 each.
I make 0.30 – 1.00 a day on a german blog about the soccer league. this is just enough to pay my hosting. I’m going to make a win within the next month (which is my next goal)

Markus – Ah I see. Well yes I guess he did well on buying them then. But also something there too – he didn’t build them up from the ground, he bought sites with pre-existing traffic and just continued working on them. It is much harder IMHO starting from scratch.

Interesting. I’ve only gotten 20-30 click-throughs in the day I’ve had AdSense running. I wonder about how many CTs it takes Jacob (or anyone else for that matter) to get to $100/day?
Regardless, kudos to Jacob and everyone else that hits this milestone!

I wonder if I could reach a goal like that by the end of this year. I guess I would have to bust my hump and get cracking on it. How is everyone else fairing? For that last three months my income is increasing (small amounts though) For this month, I have already passed last months total.

if clicks on your site are worth $1 each – 100….if they’re worth 10c 1000….

Thanks for the response Darren. And now for the stupid question…what determines the worth of AdSense clicks on your site? You’ve probably already explained this or know of someone who has, so even just a link would be cool.

It’s not necessarily 36,500 a year.
I’ve had plenty of $60 days, a few in the $70’s, but the *average* still stays down just under $40.00. For me, weekends are always bad – half or less of weekday income. Holidays are killers too..
It seems to me that it gets tougher and tougher to pull out money. My impressions are up, the CTR is up, but the value of the ads keeps going down, down, down. I manage to stay just about even (maybe a little gain) by constant growth, but if I’m not on top of it constantly, it just slides away..
