Redesigning Blog Templates
I just stumbled across a useful page for those wanting to give their blog a bit of a design overhaul – it’s a blog tutorial on Blog Templates using Photoshop. In it they talk about how to design header banners/logos, give photos borders, make button etc. They also give a lot of useful links to help in the process.

How do you stumble upon these sites? Google search? Stumble Extension for Firefox? Neat little writeup though.

I stumbled on this one by watching my referrer stats – they sent me a hit so I went to see why and ended up finding a new site.

That color scheme thing is the best thing on that page for me. I use Visibone a lot, but this one is great! A little Photoshop does go a long way, especially if you’re good with masks. I’m pretty happy with the way my blog design turned out.

I am looking around for a 3-col template for my new blogs. Something like weblogsinc is using. Any suggestions?

I like the tool on Red Alt which allows you to analyze a site and get the color patterns that the site is using. Useful if you see a color you want to use, and don’t know the code for it.
