This is a really great template for developing a strategic plan. It's simple, which makes it so nice. This is really something anyone could tackle in one evening, review the next night, and start implementing right away. Refreshing vs. the average 35 page deck!

[...] I usually operate at the level of activities, and when I’m really disciplined about planning, I will develop objectives. But a highly-respected blogging resource recommends giving careful thought to your blogging mission, values and vision. In other words: why are you blogging, what values guide your blogging and what do you hope to achieve with your blogging? I agree it’s wise to articulate these rather than assume your readership can determine them from what is and is not on your blog. [...]

It's true! I waste a lot of time for building my web without planning and the result is no income. Make a good planning before doing anything !

Fantastic.

Writing out my plan as we speak. My starting new blogs goal is to have 5 profitable blogs in one year. I have about two that have this potential, I think.

I'd have to say that I was hoping this article was more about coming up with those profitable blogs, but this really did help. My main goal is to make a living blogging, and I also want to inform readers and help other writers out.

Cheers,

[...] Does it Fit with Your Blog’s Goals and Objectives - For me a lot of the advice that I’ve given in this series of blogging for beginners comes down to working out some goals, strategy and vision for your blog (I’ve written extensively on strategic blogging here so won’t unpack this now). There are many reasons why people blog and the motivation of money is just one of them. Here’s some of the responses I had when I asked why people blog: [...]
