ProBlogger – the Comic

Problogger

I’ve been immortalized at in cartoon form at Comic Strip Blog. I’m not sure that I’m really in the league of Robert Scoble and Dave Winer or deserve the compliment of the strip – but it’s definitely a first – an a pretty good likeness at that!

  • LOL. Can’t really tell if that was supposed to be a flattering portrayal of you or not. But I think I’d take it the good way!

  • It was not supposed to be flattering to anybody. This comic strip simply is showing that apart from bloggers who are disconnected from reality like millionaires (like Dave Winer) and bloggers who are employed by big corporations (like Robert Scoble) there are also real bloggers like Darren Rowse. If you are blogger yourself then listening to people like those covered by these 2 categories may be misleading because they are disconnected from reality to big extend.

Darren Rowse: keep up the good work! I like your practical tips on blogging and comments on commercialization of blogs. Several of these comments prove that you have knowledge that is totally unknown to above mentioned 2 categories of blogggers… yo!

  • This means you have arrived on the web. When a webcomic makes you famous, then you know that you are set! I think it it is a pretty good likeness.

  • Good on ya, Darren.

And I notice (and I’m currently downloading) you talking to the G’Day World crew. Interesting…

  • bahaha That’s awesome. Congrats on celebrity status!

  • Congrats, Darren. You deserve it. :-)

  • Nice one.

I wouldn’t consider it an honour to be immortilized (vilified?) in one of his comics.

  • The ~$15,000 month will follow you around for a while Darren, if you get tired of it you can always send it to me. :)

Cheers and keep up the good work

  • Not sure how I would react to being in a comic… but the one your in seems reasonable! At least you’ve been immortaziled with the big boys of blogs!
