		<description>Joel&#039;s departure is a real bummer. He&#039;s &lt;em&gt;the&lt;/em&gt; gadget guy. 

On the brighter side of things, Joel has left the team on stable ground. The new redesign is looking SEXY (it should be up in a few days) and we&#039;ve added some exciting new features that will debut shortly. Keep an eye on Gizmodo and other Gawker properties. ;)</description>
