In the case of Gizmodo, a lot of it is new product releases with a lot of the material written already. Some commentary is posted but nothing I would consider in depth. But that's the point of posting a lot for a site like Gizmodo, we just want to see what's the newest stuff out there in an easily digestible post. It's an interesting read though...
