I wouldn’t want to be associated with the likes of Charles Johnson and his blog littlegreenfootballs. I like advertising revenue as much as the next guy, but I’m not going to do business with the operator of a hate site.

Thanks for the response, Roger. I have to respectfully disagree, though: left and right are alive and well on the web, and particularly in the blogosphere. From the snippets of conversation I’ve seen here and there, that’s the subject under discussion on left-leaning blogs re: PJMedia: do you really want to be affiliated with Instapundit, Powerline and Little Green Footballs? Sure, it’s an advertising network, and that’s primarily about making money regardless of political affiliation, but folks like Glen Reynolds, Hugh Hewitt and Charles Johnson have made their name on their political affiliations, so it’s hardly an irrelevant question.

Why not, Jeff? I myself are way left (old terminology to me) on the social issues, favor gay marriage, etc. What’s the big deal? This is an advertising network. Left and right are old-fashioned ideas now anyway.

This is an interesting concept — I even requested more information, and what I received was also compelling. My concern, as a definitely left-of-center blogger (though not purely political), is the rightward lean of the board. I wonder if those of us not on the right should even bother…
