		<description>I bet a lot of their testing is done by random sampling of select groups. Either they choose the groups based on # of impressions or by some other measurable quantity.</description>

		<description>I find it impressive that you not only received a response, but a timely, personal and courteous one. Try sending a similar email to Microsoft or almost any other major company. Google clearly understands what drives their success. 
Contrast this with your story a couple days ago of the blogger who asked you not to email them anymore because they were too busy [important].</description>
