I actually found out about this extension from another site. I haven’t had any problems with running it so far. It definitely stops me from running to adsense every twenty minutes though. Great time saver. :)

I had to uninstall it because it seems to break a lot of other extensions. Weird, the adsense counter in the status bar did work properly though.

Firefox Add-Ons: Google AdSense Notifier
A Firefox extension exists to help you monitor our AdSense earnings on the browser status bar. Definitely worth a try, although it is still in the very early stage of development. What does version 0.3.3 tell us about anyway? :)

Darren … glad you found it. I dropped an email to you a few minutes after it was released and didn’t know if you saw it or not.

I worked with the author to remove a few bugs. The extension writing side of the house is very complex. There isn’t really a way to ensure that your extension works well with others. :)

All the identified issues with performance should be resolved.

Update : I just auto installed an update and the firefox stats now match the adsense stats page. I like it, I waste so much time checking stats, this has got to help my productivity.

I’ve tried this and *I think* it was responsible for freezing my browser, but it seems to be working after restarting though it’s not picking up my actual income figure.

As long as it’s not slowing things down I’ll leave it installed and see how it goes.
