Yahoo entering the market is a good thing, Chris Vincent. I just hope their contextual matching system is as good as Google's.

OT: I wonder how Yahoo's contextual advertising network will effect Overture bid prices (which are usually higher than Google's)?

I too am interested to see what Yahoo! offers. I wonder if they will at least be competitive with the % they offer for the ctr. When I began using Google Adsense, I was honestly quite surprised to see how it all averaged out. Seeing a large company such as Yahoo! offer basically the same idea is exciting. imo

I'm really interested in what Yahoo! might have to offer. Whatever happens, it can only be good for publishers, since Yahoo! and Google will be competing over us. Perhaps we can look forward to bigger cuts or more transparency for the whole deal (something Google really has a problem with).
