hey darren, i use mozilla’s thunderbird email client and it has a built in newsreader. i like it. hope that helps.

Don’t feel bad. I’m new to weblogging and just when I was starting to get into it the Chinese govt. blocked my access to the site. My friends in the States have told me that they can open it just fine…too bad I can’t. Arrrrgggggghhhhhhh

NOw I am on the hunt for a real blog hosting site. If you have any tips, drop them.

Try going to http://216.148.212.183/ instead of http://www.bloglines.com. It’s a DNS problem for me, but the number works.

For what it’s worth, I’m in the same boat. I can’t get to Bloglines for about 24 hours now. Is your ISP RCN by any chance?

I also haven’t been able to receive the atom feed from my own site for about four days. I think when Bloglines was restored, it seems everything was, thank God.

Bloglines mentioned they would have about half an hour of downtime today for a system upgrade. I didn’t notice it, and I haven’t had any problems with the service.

Sorry to hear you had trouble. Hopefully it clears up, as Bloglines really is a nice aggregator.
