i actually have about $200 generated thru my blog using crispads… however.. they’ve never paid me a dime. I’ve called about 8 times over the last month. Finally got the accounting person on the phone and all she had to say was that they had 2 people doing payments and “it will be paid by the end of the week”. Guess what? No payment yet and it’s been about 10 days.

i used to have crispads on my blog, but it was very disappointing. i’d heard a mix of positive and negative feedback, but i thought i’d give it a go before i judged them – and the results were disappointing to say the least.

for one, they say they will pay a flat rate of $25 (or something similiar to this) per click. however, it’s not that straight forward and so you don’t get as good an income as expected.
they also have a really small selection of ads, and there is no convenient way to find these.. you have to type random keywords into a box and hope you find something that will appeal to your readers.

their customer service is also very very poor. i’ve emailed them a few times asking queries etc. and i still haven’t recieved a reply!

also, i still have not recieved payment for my month with crispads. though maybe it will take longer than i had calculated, so i’m not sure about that yet.
but i also emailed them regarding this, and guess what? NO REPLY.
it’s ridiculous.

my advice to you? it’s a waste of time. when i first tried it out, i thought there’s nothing to lose. but surely the whole point of this is to gain something (ie. profit from your blog)?
seriously, leave it out. it’s not worth the time and patience!

I have had a couple of good payouts from Crispads, but since they have changed format for the way they advertised, I am nolonger get the click through I used to.

They are harvesting emails from blogs (I just got one from a paypal link I have up) and sending spam. They’re seriously bad news.

I just signed up for CrispAds. Whatever be the downside, I’m sure their attitude will be much healthier than Google’s.

Google’s AS may be a pioneering factor, but such a great revenue earner gets shadowed by tha pathetic customer service tnat Google is famous for. I just discovered through Google search that I’m not alone in my opinon.
