I don't have a problem with ads on a web-page/blog (do it myself), but I'm unable to justify it in a feed. I am starting to see ad links show up in feeds from syndication services. (To the credit side, they are clearly marked as ad links.) I have decided that I will not click an ad link from my feed reader. And, were advertising in a feed to become pervasive, I would likely unsubscribe from that feed. To my way of thinking, my syndication feed is the hook that brings readers to my blog for more information. Hopefully they will then be induced to click an ad on my site. This then reflects back to a quality-of-post issue. If the post title is well thought out and the post is well written and the readers will come. Everyone praises googles adsense but I've really begun to despise both those textads and the sites that carry them.
