I entered the world of blogging a few weeks ago. I am glad to have stumbled onto this post; I feel more at ease. I have five posts, a few page hits, and no comments. I mostly started blogging to serve as a writing exercise, just to get ideas flowing for a script writing class I'm taking. After seeing my words up on the internet, I now have the urge for people to read, comment, and relate to them... A natural inclination, I guess. This post has reset my internal timeline for what "should" be happening 2 weeks into a new blog. I'll keep writing (for myself) stop worrying too much about 'niche,' continue to refine, and absorb.

Good basic info for a beginner like me - thanks. I still dont understand how to make money out of blogging but thats because I dont really understand how it all works yet. In the mean time I am just enjoying the writing part - I was getting impatient - just wanted someone to give me some feedback or comment etc.. Now I know that I must be patient.
