Great Stuff! Really like what you have here. However, I do believe that you can now put google ads in your RSS feeds as well. This might be a new option since the recent takeover of feedburner by google. I get quite a few clicks from my RSS everyday.

I have given up on adsense… It just doesn’t work… no clicks in a month and I have had over three thousand visitors… I guess I just write posts as a free service… I’ll keep reading these blogs…

Thanks for sharing. Earning money from adsense is really not easy. Driving traffic is one of the factor. And it’s still hard for me to get a lot of traffic.

Hello,today i came accross your blog and learnt a lot and can not check myself communicating..you see i first created a blog when i first learnt about adsense as a residual income stream and promoted this blog in traffic exchanges..search engines etc applied to google for adsense account and got it.when i got one account i created a number of blogs with different topics and put adsense ads there and after sometime i was intimated that i was found to be doing invalid clicks even at the starting point of my adsense life..and subsequently my account was got disabled i appealed for several times and said that i am honest but it vain and now when i tried to start once again with another blog google says that i will not be able to participate forever i do not know what to say but i feel this is pure injustice to a honest worker like me and seer punishment to something i have not done..but i love to be associated with google as i feel adsense still is a good source of residual income if set correctly..but i feel i still lack some knowledge ..what i want is what next..at this point can i request google for an account from some other email address…is there any hope..please let me know…

Thanks for the tips. I just posted a few of the changes to my site at http://www.fourhourworkweekdiary.com. However, Eaton now charges $35 to post links and some of the other Blog search engines / portal sites don’t seem to work. Any suggestions? It seems that the above info might be a bit dated.

I just wanted to say thanks Darren for this website in general. More specifically, these tips are very useful. I’ve been writing notes like crazy. I’m extremely new to this. I don’t even have ads yet on my site. I’m trying to absorb as much information as possible to make my blog the best it can be before even putting an ad on it. If anyone wants to look at it and give me some ideas on how to generate more traffic that would be great. Thanks!

I agree with yours tips. I’ve experimented with adsense position a lot on my blogs and you really do want to make it fit in with your website. Newsletter is kind of a cool idea. What you should do is go even further and mention affiliate sites in the newsletter if your blog fits a product category. But then again it really depends on the type of blog you have. Good tips though, thanks.
