Hi have just implemented a highly targeted adsense template on to my site over the last week, i traditionally did the layout of adsense myself , so it will be interesting to see if this lifts earnings or remains the same.

I started a web site about Auto Repair Rip Off and have been using adsense. i get about 100 hits a day but zero on adsense. Most people say use only text ads and to blend the colors of the ads to match your web site. This hasen’t helped. I guess you need at least 1000 hits a day just to get a few adsense hits.

I have never had a problem with AdSense rejecting one of my sites. I don’t run any sites about illicit content – profanity, pornography or otherwise, but some of them are perhaps a little less than Martha Stewart. At what stage do they reject it? I created an account, and when I want to create an ad for a new site, I simply build the ad, add a new channel and post it at the new site…

I find it very difficult to make money off adsense. I think it just about covers the cost of the website but no more than that. It takes a lot of time and patience. Its about a 0.0001 cent an hour job. But I’ll keep following these artices to get an idea of how I can improve my adsense.

I wished I had read this earlier. Am worried about not getting enough traffic . My site is only a few weeks old and traffic is close to zero. I just wanted to cover my hosting costs that I subscribed for Adsense and just got it approved.

Yes. It is true that before you start placing adsense ads. You must be able to generate an acceptable amount of traffic. Lets say 100 visitors and your prediction is that atleast 1 of that 100 visitors will click your ads. Increase your traffic first before placing adsense ads.

I bought an adsense website about 6 months ago thinking it was going to make money on autopilot.After about 2 to 3 weeks of no clicks whatsoever I wondered what was going on. I let another 3 to 4 weeks go by and then I started to look at ways of generating traffic to the site. After 3 to 4 months I had made about 10 dollars with the site without doing anything to generate traffic.
I then bought a package called adsense business in a box and uploaded the 155 websites to my host. At this time I had discovered how to post to social bookmarking sites and tag my websites with relevent keyword tags. I then posted all my sites to the social bookmarking sites using a service called Onlywire.
After about 2 or 3 days I started getting clicks on my sites.
I was beginning to make about 2 dollars per day,and it was the same everyday. Now about three weeks later I am having days when I log in and have made between 4 and 6 dollars everyday.
I know this is nothing to compete with the gurus,anyway I am now looking at ways to get more traffic to my sites,ways such as using articles and submitting them to article directories,adding comments to high PR blogs,and getting all pages indexed in the search engines. I hope this is helpful to people looking for ideas on earning with adsense.

I just started a website with my images for people to use as wallpaper and signed up for adsense, but you write its not good for starting sites? its only online for 4 days now and there is no traffic yet because my site is not indexed at google(I hope it enters fast) there are a lot of images and not so much text, will this be a reason for them to stop adsense for my new site? my site is:

How do you get high paying ads on a low paying topic like insurance ad’s on a political site?

I have been using Adsense for 4 months now and have been working very hard. Also doing everything the help section and others have talked about and have only made 11 cents. I’m going to give it another month and then if I don’t make anything I’m kicking it all to the curb. I guess you could say they have gotten FREE advertisitng

The adsense was easy to set up and to generate a small amount of cash but it is still quite new to me.. I feel adwords might help I will check that out. google have a network of oppitunity so I guess it is a key to earn more, work with them not outside the circle.

According to my experiment to Google Adsense, your content at least has 200 words to make your adsense more relevant with your content.

Adsense uses the title of your page, the domain name, any text in H1 H2 H3 first before it uses content as a source of context for your ads.

I have notice that by tweaking the title of the page to be more keyword-oriented, I was able to get better quality ads. Repeating keywords in the text of your page also helps. Image titles and alt / label tags + keywords = better ads.

Don’t forget….with Google, content is king.
