All You Can Eat Blogging and Social Media Posts

Posted By Darren Rowse 11th of June 2008 Pro Blogging News 0 Comments

If you’ve got a little spare time today and are in the mood for learning about how to blog – you might want to check out Alltop’s Blogging Page. It lists the latest posts of 44 great blogs about blogging. Only thing I’d add to the page is the RSS feed of each blog (so people can subscribe directly) and perhaps even a mega feed that pipes all of the feeds on the category into one. Also at Alltop on a related topic is their Social Media page.

  1. nice, all my favorite blogs in one place, thanks!

  2. Wow. That’s sweet, thanks Darren

  3. Wasn’t Alltop created for people who don’t understand RSS?

  4. Thats a great list made by alltop but the only reason why i would not be stuck to it is that am already subscribed to most of the blogs.

  5. Thanks for the great link! I don’t have the time to read too many of them now but I’ll find the time soon. There is a lot of great content on there to get inspired about.

  6. Nice find. I wonder what they use to determine who should go on that page. For example, pearsonified is a good blog however it has only had 3 posts in the last 7 months and it still made it on the list.

  7. Guy’s Alltop is great and it suits me to use a site like this more than an RSS reader, maybe i’m just old school though … i just find it easier to see the current posts like that.

  8. This is a great way to condense useful information in one place. With a newbie blogger, this link is very valuable, saving some time running around searching for new and fresh info in blogosphere.

  9. Wow this is absolutely awesome.

Thanks for posting – maybe this will help my fledgling sites traffic.

  10. Thanks, Darren.

Looks a little like my Google Page, although there are a few there that I’ve never heard of.

Please keep the great information coming! :o)

  11. Thanks Darren,

It is great to be able to see so many sites and some I have not heard of. I will be subscribing to some of the sites for updates.

  12. Thanks for sharing those links, Darren. I think I’m going to find several new sites to subscribe to on the Social Media page.

  13. Alltop has made my month :) Love it!

  14. guess i need some decades to get some blog of mine there….

  15. Looking good,
    gonna check it! ;)

  16. nice list
but for rss readers users only subscribe to those blog that have a big number of subscribers. small bloggers like are facing real bad time to get some rss readers

  17. I’ve been very happy with Alltop since beginning my writing blog. I’ve found it to be decent traffic generator and the sites I am closely tied with are all there.

    Rick

  18. I really like Guy’s idea of AllTop – it’s a great resource for those people who want to keep their fingers on the pulse of the movers and shakers in particular industries.

I had added all the feeds there a few weeks ago to help keep me abreast of what other probloggers are writing.

I also like his Truemores site as well. Barbara

  19. Just a simple thought, but has anybody else thought a blog about blogging is kind of… ironic? :P

All amusing comments aside, that’s a really nice resource, I’ll definitely be reading and taking notes on a lot of the various resources they link to!

  20. Thank you! I’m digging into the “Online Marketing Blog” section as we speak. :)

  21. Really excellent, All leading blogs in one place. This will reduce our time to search for blogs inorder to provide comments for backlink.

I appreciate your good work for providing such a valuable information to us.

  22. I can really see where this will shorten my time pulling up everything like I usually have to do. I agree with Bruce above that is does look like my google page a little but not a bad find. thanks

  23. Great list! Alltop is great i must stick to it.

    Thanks

  24. Wow, thanks so much for this. It will go along way helping out all the beginning blogger, such as me.

    Thanks

  25. Wow – that’s a pretty decent service. I think your feed idea would push the site above and beyond though – and turn it into an irreplaceable media source. I love their design – and the way they have each blog’s posts laid out. And of course – Problogger is the first blog listed. ;-)

  26. Thanks Darren, this is very cool. For beginners you can’t beat this resource.
